NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Columbine Lake Water District, Grand County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 2, 2023 is hereby canceled pursuant to section 1-13.5-513(6) C.R.S.

An application for an absentee ballot shall be filed with the designated election official no later than the close of business on Tuesday preceding the election, April 25, 2023.

Eligible electors ages 18 or older of the Three Lakes Water and Sanitation District interested in serving on the Board of Directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form from the Designated Election Official (DEO):

The deadline to submit a Self Nomination and Acceptance Form is close of business on Friday, February 24, 2023.

If the only matter before electors is election of Directors, there are not more candidates than offices to be filled at election, including write-in candidates, then the Designated Election Official shall cancel the election on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
